Eligibility: Projects that serve Vermont teenage women

Grant Range: Annual grants up to $3,000

Interest Area: Support for the intellectual, artistic, and physical development of teenage women in the State of Vermont.

Jennifer’s Fund is a component fund of the Vermont Community Foundation (VCF) and thus subscribes to the VCF mission and general grant eligibility requirements. Jennifer’s Fund, like VCF, is a philanthropic resource whose overall purpose is “to identify emerging issues and underserved populations that will benefit most from private charitable funds.”

The specific purpose of Jennifer’s Fund is to support the intellectual, artistic, and physical development of Vermont teenage women. Successful applications for grants from Jennifer’s Fund should be from organizations or individuals with:

  • A project that benefits Vermont teenage women;
  • A well-planned approach to underlying issues and needs;
  • A base of community support;
  • A committed and skilled leadership;
  • Formal non-profit tax-exempt status under the Internal Revenue Service Code 501(c)(3); or engagement in an activity associated with a non-profit tax-exempt organization, Government agency or educational institution.
